I have Wic which provides formula for my son. He is on a hypoallergenic formula called Nutramigen because of allergies so we get eight 16oz cans a month. When he was on regular formula we got twelve cans a month. It has been just a life saver for us because his formula is $25 a can. Wic can also provide food for you. It will give you things like milk, cheese, and cereal. The income guidelines are actually higher than you would expect to qualify. If you qualify for food stamps you will for sure qualify for Wic. I believe they have a website that can direct you to your state Wic website. From there look up clinic locations and there should be a Wic office in your town. They will need proof of residence and income or if you child is on medicaid than that card will work. Good Luck with your little one! By the way if you do get Wic when your baby is 3 months they will give you 3 boxes of rice or oatmeal cereal a month a well.

Yes of course you can. I used to work in a grocery store and people did it all the time. However you would also be able to use WIC to purchase baby formula.

As long as it is a dry/cold/frozen food, food stamps will cover it. So your answer, Yes you can buy formula on foodstamps.

You had better be able to buy baby formular with food stamps. What the hell are they for if not to buy food for a baby?

I am not sure, but the person can ask there worker if they can. Because most people who get state assistance get WIC for free and that takes care of your babies formula, but I am not 100%, so good luck on find out.

unfortunatly not... but you can apply for WIC they will provide all of the formula for you at no cost to you... But you can buy jars of baby food and juice... may as well start stocking up on it now... buy a little bit here and there... hope that answered your question...
