What are the laws for the state of Maine (state law, not ADA federal law) concerning Service Dogs (more specifically Psychiatric Service Dogs? please provide links to info if possible.

Thanks! that does answer basically what i wanted to know, if Psychiatric Service Dogs were covered by state law or if just Service Dogs for physical disabilities (ie. Guide Dogs for the blind).

You need to be more specific. For starters, service animals are allowed in food stores, per MRSA Title 17, Chapter 131, Section 3966.

This statute states that a service animal may be prescribed for a person with a disability by a physician, psychiatrist, or psychologist.
