I am having a child with a girl I slept with only one time. I wanted to do the right thing and marry her but she says she does not want that. She said it was a drunk mistake to sleep with me. Thats fine, I don't really care if I am with her or not, but I want to be the one who names our child. I want to name him after my hero 'Jar Jar Binks', but she flat out refuses. She says she wants nothing to do with me and will flee the country if I don't stop hanging around while wearing my Jar Jar Binks costume. What rights do I have to name the baby myself?

Well, first off, if you take a paternity test, and the child is in fact yours, you have all the parental rights you would have if you were married to this person. If you take the test and are not the father, then you can't really do much at that point. But yeah, the name thing......sorry, but I agree with her.... /\
