Would you sacrifice yourself to save another life?

Probably not. But here's a true story of an unselfish boy.
There was a little girl who needed a blood transfusion. Her 5 yr old brother was the only candidate. His parents and the Dr. asked him if he would be willing to give his sister blood. He said yes right away.
As they were doing the transfusion the little boy asked the Dr. if he would feel the dying right away.
That little boy didn't really understand what was happening .
He thought he was giving up his life for his sister.
I wonder how many of us would be so willing to give life to another at the cost of our own.

Absolutely not for a stranger- the only person for whom I would sacrifice my life would be my son.

I would have to give that about a seconds worth of thought for the answer to that question. because thats about the amount of time you would be given if that situation should ever arise. I would hope that if the time ever came I would with out hesatation give my life to save a fellow humans life. To do it with forethought is an un answerable question .We cant know till its to late or the moment is really before us.

Hmmm good question, I think I would, just given the current situation I am in, I'd live my life to the fullest and if that meant giving it up to save someone else then I'd do it.

Yes, I believe I would. I worked in EMS for a few years, and it's an amazing thing to deal with life & death. EMS & Fire Fighters do it all the time...they are my heros.

Yeah if we were all in a really bad situation I would give up my life to help the people around me even if i didn't know them.

yes. i hate seeing other ppl get hurt. even if they are a stranger. if they are a loved one, i not only would sacrifice myself, but would die for them if it meant they would not be harmed.

Definitely not! You know and I get the feeling, maybe 1 in 1000 would do the same for me, so I'm figuring the odds just aren't worth it. : )

depends on the situation. if i knew losing my life would make a difference, then yes.
