I did install it, did not like it, slower and not what I expected. So I restored my system back to what it was before I downloaded IE7

Yes, definetely upgrade. Why?
Well IE7 is far more secure than IE6 but not so secure that you can't do anything as is the case with Firefox. In IE7 you have a better pop-up blocker than before and a new Phishing filter that will let you know if you are on a website pretending to be another website.
Also IE7 now has tabbed browsing. This let's you have more than one window open, but instead of having to switch from one screen to another, you can just click on a little tab in the sam window. This is very useful if you want to compare prices at different stores, you can switch from tab to tab.
Another upgrade is RSS feeds. RSS let's you know when a website updates. So if you want to know when a blog updates, the RSS is a more efficient way of doing this.
Lastly, there is the new layout. It may seem weird at first, but after a while you start to like the new layout that they have in Internet Explorer 7. It looks nice and is more streamlined.
So those are the major changes in IE7. There are others, but these are the biggest changes.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I love how fast it works and all the new features are great. Personally whenever I see a computer with IE6 I just can't stand it because I like IE7 a lot more.
I hope this helped you decide!

On some computers it seems to run faster than 6. On many, including mine, its very slow and unreliable, i actually reccomend Firefox 2. It has more features than ie7, many available themes, and some very useful extensions.

If you like to have yahoo news load everytime you open the internet go ahead!
And it keeps alot of your history in the address bar!
I like how you can have more than one site open at one time with a new tab feature...
