I don't think there is such a thing as petite runway modeling, but if you are at least 5'4 , you can do print work for catalogs such as Kmart.That would be fun too.

I'm sure there are, but the majority of runway models are tall and willowy thin, the better to show off the designer's clothing. Most off-the-rack petite lines of clothing are originally full-sized designs, so there isn't a need for petite women to model them.

You might contact some of the modeling agencies to see if there is a possibility of their using petite models. However, you may find it easier to get local work, or photoshoots for catalogs, or a body-specific modeling gig for hands, hair, or face which aren't so dependent on height.

After all, it will depend on your personal style, weight, and ability as a model. Getting the training to be a model won't hurt even if you never actually make it down the runway. The skills you'd develop in model school will pay off in many other jobs.

petite runway modeling? dont you think that they all are petite enough..what is wrong with this world..they all look like skin is just hanging on them like the clothing that they are wearing..toothpicks with clothes
