Absolute power corrupts, a philosopher said. That is why we have three supposedly independent branches of government, Legislative, Executive and Judicial. They keep each other in check. And if somebody gets out of order we have a powerful thing in our possession: our vote. As far as the word "enjoys" in regards to power, I would not use it. Power is responsibility. Besides, having more or less power for a president is not a question. His duties and responsibilities are clearly defined by the Constitution.

Less. Eminent domain, allowing the gov't to just take people's land and homes away has been a disaster.
I never saw someone work as hard as my friend, she lets nothing stand in her way, she could have had a disability check years ago.
Yet, everyday she lived in constant fear of losing her home.
We can all breath a sigh of relief now that we have a demo. house and senate.
