My seven year old cousin once asked "Mum, how old will my baby brother be when i turn 18?" His mum responded "I've told you many times that you are 7 yrs older than him. so take 7 away from 18. Then he said "But mum i dont have 18 fingers to do that math?
I just laughed my eye lashes off. How innocent can this be?

I wish as adults we could still think in simple terms like young children--they say the most precious things. My daughter was 5 years younger than her brother, but her birthday would come before his during the year. She could not understand why she wasn't older than him!!!

that is so gorgeous! i love the way that kids are so cute without even trying. and they honestly dont even realise that the funny things they do are enough to make your day!

aww, he sounds so adorable =) . i just love the things little kids say, and when they have this confused look on their face [ while asking you why your laughing ] when you laugh and they don't understand why your laughing.
