Definitely tell your mom. after all she's a woman, if not anything else. She'll surely be able to tell you. probably its a genetic trait, to get delayed periods. Armed with all this info, U and your mom cud see the GYN y u'v not had your periods.
Don worry. I got my periods wen i was nearly 16. an my mom was hell worried till then.. iv had problems with it after that too, but nothing which was not solvable.
So chill. Have faith in the Lord as well.
Take care and lemme know. K?

It's not a problem at all! Some girls get their period first time when they turn 16. If you're very active and thin, the chances are that you will only have your period a bit later in life. No big deal. There is nothing anyone can do to make your period appear, just let nature take it's course.
See it as a great blessing not to have your period yet!
Women who start their period earlier in life have more chance of illness.

you have to tell your mom
because unfortunetly when i got my period i was 10..... very young okay and i knew what it was cuz my older sister had one .... so i figured i am fine just wear those tampons and those pads ill be fine...... well no i decided to put in a tampon and actually forgot about it for 3 days and got an infection and got tss and ended up in the hospital............ but i know you probably wouldnt be that stupid but honestly it is always better to have mom to talk to when you have cramps or when your PMSing or even when u just wanna chat with mom it helps
honestly and just tell her so u know that u have someone to talk to at any time

You have the option to or not to tell after all it is your period not your mum's. But every girl needs help in this stuff. There are some things only mothers can impart to their children. You deserve this much as your children will need to also know from you. Lastly there is nothing to be ashamed of, feel free to share it with your mother.

Don't worry about it. Firstly, your mom probably knows that you haven't started. secondly, you're not late. Lots of girls don't start until their late teens (16 or older). Don't think you have to be exactly like your friends all the time. Plus, your period's a pain. You'll experience it soon enough.

I got mine when I was almost 14 don't worry. Also I'm sure your mom will be able to tell when you have your period they know these things. And tell her when it happens. Just remember not to use tampons for the first year. I hear it is unhealthy.

Tell your mum.
You will find that she may well know roughly when you will start as the age you are tends to follow in families. My mum, my sister and me all started around 15years of age there is still plenty of time don't worry.
And don't wish them to come, you'll have years of wishing you never had them, if they cause pain like mine.
don't be shy your mum will understand.

I went through this myself. I was embarrassed to tell my foster mom about having my period and tried to hide it. It didn't work for me, she still found out. It's hard when you just start your period, but you might want to tell your mom anyway. Its a normal part of your life.
