You may be pregnant, but I know that my best friend was not able to use a home pregnancy test because she does not produce enough of the hormone that the pregnancy test reads. She was like this with both of her pregnancies. She had to confirm pregnancy by going to the doctor and getting a blood test. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

stabbing in your belly? as in pain? that sounds more like food poisoning than pregnancy. well, i know i tried to get pregnant for a good 4 months or so and every month i was convinced the test was going to be positive. i truely believe that we want it sobad we somehow convince ourselves that all the signs are there. i do that now and i'm not even trying! well anyway....the less stressed you are the better chances of conceiving, and also it was when we calmed down and took a month off from trying that we got pregnant! the fewer times he ejaculates the more potent the sperm are. if you ever doubt the test you take at home, don't be shy about going to the doctor and asking for a blood test. i did it and it never seemed to bother them...gives them something to do, lol! have fun and good luck to you!

Amanda, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

You may have a bladder infection. If the pregnancy tests comes out negative and your about 1 week behind on your period, just relax, it will come shortly.

sore nipples can be a monthly thing
I took 2yrs 3mths to fall with my second child
you are probably trying to hard
they say if you do that it can make falling pregnant hard
because you are stressed
so stay calm & don't even think of a baby at the time
just think the whole time how much you love you partner etc

you may need to go to the doc and see if they can do a blood test. that will tell you for sure if you are or not. But you will not have anything feeling of a baby if you are not far along. I would call the doc and see if they can do a blood test.

Sometimes it takes a while for the Hcg to show up. I had a friend that was pregnant and the blood test kept returning negative.

i get all those symptoms right before i get my cycle to be completely honest.....a sore chest small amounts of discharge and cramps aren't uncommon for most women who have their cycle....i'd suggest getting in to see a OB/GYN as soon as you get a chance however....
