Myself.
I'm engaged to be married next summer to my 5th husband.
It's the first time I'll be marrying for love and because I'm actually IN LOVE with my man.
#1-3 lasted no more than 2yrs, but #4 was over ten years long.
Children have resulted from #1, #3, and #4, and I share time with some of my children and some are already adults. I have a terrific relationship with all of them.
There will be no children with #5.
Some of us just find ourselves in situations we can't get out of, and some people fall in love over and over, hoping each one will be the right one.
It just takes some of us longer to find the right one.

My paternal grandmother was married nine times. She said she would fill up the backyard with them until she found a good one. She seemed to end up with non working bums a lot. She had a kind heart and a little money to go with it. During her last few years, she did find the "man of her dreams" ...whom we all became very attached to. He preceeded her in death by one year.
My family calls me "Granny Jr.", since I followed in her footsteps and married nine times also. Why 9 times for me? I have a handicapped child that is now an adult. The men I married were wimps, and couldn't handle the fact that I raising my disabled child....instead of putting her into an institution. Hey when a (real) mother is forced to choose between her child and a man.....the child usually wins.

My cousin has been married no lie 9 times. She finds a man dates them for about a month and marries them. A person like this has a very low self asteem and has problems. I think if you have been married more then 3 times then you need to seek help because most likely the problem is them.
