Republicans did not lose power because of scandal and corruption. They lost power because of the direction our country has been going.

Yes, they should apologize for not getting more done, to my knowledge, some of them have.

No, we have no right to impeach President Bush. He has not broken the law. As for his henchmen, they have the right to be there as well. Remember, we elected them.

Yes Republicans can change. We can all change. That is the road we are on. The Republicans were simply caught in a rift and couldn't free their minds.

One does not dig for scandal. The proof will come out if there have been any more scandals. Don't be so pessimistic. Scandal can occur anywhere, but, it may not have occured anywhere else at all.

Roe vs. Wade does not need protection. It is precedent. It stands alone.

No, Democrats should not invest in stem cell research. That is for the medical community. The government should pave the way for research, but, the responsibility lies in the State, and the medical community.

Our brave troops will be home, soon. But, let's make a plan first, and lets put that plan into action with evaluations to it's success. At least we'll have an exit strategy rather than blindly "staying the course".

Lastly, the Federal Government is not there to pass laws, protect law, or enact medical precedent. That is for the State Government to do. We need to expect more out of our State Govt., rather than demand more out of our Federal Govt.

There were a few scandals, Clinton by himself had more scandals than all 535 members of congress.

The corrupt congressmen and there were some on the left too.I see you over looked that though.

Impeachment based on what.
Keeping us safe doing what Presidents are elected to.

Sure I am sure we will turn up some dem scandals in the process.

Roe vs wade may be overturned one day, however the states which is where it should be...will have the rights to pass laws allowing abortion.

I think Stem cell research should proceed with caution.
I noticed you do not give Bush any credit for being the only
president allowing this on existing embryo's.

I guess we should continue to allow late term abortions....drilling into the head of unborn babies...that would be able to survive outside the womb.....or what is the guy in KS doing....injecting poison into the unborn baby.

Let's face it....the majority of abortions are performed out of
convenience not out of medical necessity.

May God have mercy on your soul.

first why should the republicans apologize for being their normal selves? they have done this same thing everytime they get into office. look back at ronald regan and the arms for iran contra affair, then look at ri8chard nixion breaking into the democrat national head quarters to steal an election. they are just being repuiblicans. and no they will never change, there will be many investigations and many people will leave washington. it wqill look like a bunch of rats looking for water after they have been poisioned. therer will most likely be impeachmnet preceedings soon . our troops will be comoing home soon. the only reason the republicans want the war to go on so they can say our econm,y is good. i would not be bragging about the econmy because for a war time econmy it sucks big time. and when its over the econmy is going into recession and they damned well know it

Are you kidding, they are Republicans - they don't apologize, they will just blame someone for it.
They can change, if you read the news - more and more (like the R.I. Senator) are switching parties.
Why impeach when they only have 2 years and can't do much now. Why spend the taxpayers money.
Democrats will always favor pro-choice.
Democrats should also support stem cell research too.

We will bring the troops home, but it will be slower than you think, but a lot faster than the Republicans would have ever done.

Corruption?

Where I live, the Democrats are FAR more corrupt than the Republicans.
I live in NJ, and have; Torricelly, McGreevey, Cipel, Corzine, Menendez, Lautenberg and many others.

As for embryonic stem cell research, guess how many diseases it has cured. Zero. That's right, it has done NOTHING but give slight hope to people. While Adult stem cell research, a process that doesn't destroy embryos, has given cures to over 70 diseases, including brain cancer.

As for Roe v. Wade, many people do want that overturned, or at least ban partial birth abortions, and give parental consent for minors. And if they do try to make a law, it would be vetoed and Congress wouldn't have enough votes to override the veto.

And what 'scandals' are you talking about? For every Republican scandal, I could name at least two Democratic scandals.

your question is very stereo typical, not all republicans are Bush worshipers. as for myself, I am a registered independent. Conservative in some areas and even a little liberal in others. if the Dem's can get the country back on track well lets hope so, the country is in chaos, we used to be the UNITED States of America, would like too see that again.

We forgave the democrats for all their corruption 40 years ago...

You can't be impeached unless you break the law.

Stem cell research is a toss up on both parties with niether party taking a specific stand.

Our troops can't leave until there is a stable government controlling the situation in Iraq.

C'mon, you should know this stuff.

Will the demos keep their campaign promise. Muqtada al Sadr hopes so:

The vote shows the Iraqi and American people are of one mind about withdrawing U.S. troops," said Falah Hassan Shanshal, who leads the parliamentary bloc of radical anti-American Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

"We hope the Democrats don't forget their campaign promises. If they don't, we will deal with them in a brotherly way once the last American soldier pulls out from Iraq," he said.
