Wow when I first got off the depo my periods went back to normal. Unfortunately that is the problem with me right now my husband and I are TTC but it still hasn't happened. It's all because that damn shot lol. I did have a miscarriage in April of this year, and till now we are still trying. It can take a year to a year in a half for you to be able to conceive after getting off the depo. I used to love being on it since I didn't have my period at all but now that I am trying to conceive I regret ever using it lol. Best of Luck to you and TTC. =)

I was on the shot for about three years and I ended up getting pregnant about 3 weeks before it was time to take my shot again. My daughter I had then is now two years old and I have been on the shot since she was born. A couple of times I was late getting the shot and always started my period within a a week on missing my shot. This time I was suppose to get my shot in September and now it is November and I havent had a period. I have taken two pregnancy tests a week apart from each other and they both came back negative. I am getting a little worried that either the tests are wrong or something else is wrong with me since it is not normal for me to miss my period after the shot.

I was on depo for @2 and a half years. I came off it and went on the pill for about two months. It took me 8 months to get pregnant after that. I don't remember how long my first period after stopping it lasted, but it seems like i remember it lasting "forever".

Enjoying the feeling of motherhood and raising a family would surely be a couple’s dream. Some get it naturally, while for some others things don’t seem to work as they desire. These reasons which stop a women from conceiving can be due to either physical reasons or truly physiological.

I don't remember about the period, but I only a shot ONE time, I never went back for anymore, and it took me almost three years to get pregnant. This isn't supposed to be normal so it could've been something else, but I was about 2 months shy of the three year mark before I got pregnant.
