my neighbor to go to my work Christmas party with me? I really like him, and I'm pretty sure that he likes me too, but neither of us has made a move. We hang out every weekend and drink beer and/or watch movies, so I know he digs my company.
I mainly want him to go with me because I totally enjoying hanging out with him, and it'll be free food and all the alcohol you can drink, but I don't want it to seem like it's a date.
What the hell do I do? You think I'd be able to figure this out myself, but not so much.
How would you go about asking?

Just say what you just said. "Hey, wanna go to my work Christmas party with me? It'll be free food and drinks." Good luck and have fun. Bet he says yes.

Just say "hey there's a Christams party at my work would you like to go with me? I'd like to have a friend go with me so would you be interested if you're not doing anything"? Good luck and drink a few for me.LOL

well hes your neightbor so when you see him outside or someting go like hey im having a christmas party at my work on...... and i was wondering do u wanna come its kind of adult ish..and then hell say oh thats kool..blah blah blah good luck.

just tell him that you were thinking it would be fun to have a friend go with you , then theres no pressure. good luck
