One thing I learned from being forced to watch "What Not to Wear" is that you buy jeans for the fit and cut, then hem the length.

I'm 5'2" and I have hips. LOL. I go to American Eagle because they have all types of sizes such as. size 2 petite, size 2 regular, and size 2 long. the petite is a little shorter.

I bought some jeans at Saks (citizens for humanity) and they shortened them for only 6 bucks. the seam they made matches well to the jeans too! worth every penny.

I'm 5'1" and I buy LONDON jeans from Victoria's Secret, they fit really good and are very comfortable.
