i need an attention-grabbing starting sentence for a compare-contrast essay...i have my thesis statement. the essay is about the easiest thing and the most i know about...flip flops and sneakers (im a fashionista) just sum suggestions plz or the attention grabber itself cuz im having writer's block

Have you ever gone to the beach and wanted to feel the sand on your toes but not the rocks on the bottom of your feet? A good pair of flip flops are the best choice of foot wear for days like that. But flip flops aren't wonderful if you're bike riding or dancing in the gym. So in addition to flip flops, everyone should also have at least one pair of sneakers in their wardrobe.
