I always thought it was more personality. I think of myself as ladylike, I'm quiet and polite, I don't make fun of people. I like to wear nice clothes, I really like jewelry, but I'm not sure if people would consider me a tomboy because I wear baggy jeans. The thing is where I'm from everyone is casual and wears jeans so jeans isn't the big thing but I wear baggy jeans because I'm kind of insecure about my weight, I lost about 30 lbs a year ago. I feel like I look like a weigh more than I do if I wear the tight jeans that are in right now. Anyway I was just wondering if you think people would consider me a tomboy because of this because I don't think of myself as one and I always thought it was more about personality.

A girl being considered a "tomboy" is more of a perception than anything. Some will make an assumption that a girl is a tomboy based on their clothing, others will assume based on behaviors (sometimes it's both).
I wouldn't really worry about the baggy jeans so much, but if you are really concerned, you don't have go for the tight jeans - maybe something a little closer cut, maybe relaxed fit or boot cut jeans. Both can be flattering. (Personally, if I lost 30 lbs, heck 20 - I'd be one to show it off in as flattering a way as possible!)
Don't stress so much about what people think - you can't please everyone all of the time. I was considered a 'tomboy' based on my interests - I was big into computers, playing pool, video games and sports - things that were typically male-dominated activites when I was growing up. But, I had "female" interests as well, such as sewing, cooking and fashion. I decided I was going to be me regardless... When I was out playing sports, I dressed accordingly, the same way I would wear a killer dress for special events (if you could see the faces of the guys I used to play pool with when they saw me in that dress!! LOL).
I hope this helps!

I personally think tomboy is a personality. Just because you wear baggy jeans, does NOT technichally mean you are a tomboy. You can be the girliest-girl and for one day wear baggy clothing, does NOT technichally make you a tomboy.

It's a personality. I am tomboy and very confident in myself for being so. It just so happens that I am in fact more comfortable in mens clothing but add my own "girly" flair to it. And just for the record not all women are ladies. Take most of women on the tabloid pages, I don't think that they are at all ladies.

tomboy is completely personality. if the clothes match the personality, its coincidence, or icing on the cake. for example, my friend and i are total tomboys. we play with the boys, and get along better with them, etc. i happen to wear t-shirts and jeans a lot, because that is what i am comfortable in. lex wears really girly stuff and is a really cute kid, but she could kick trash anyday. it just depends on comfort zones

Personality. Clothing is just window dressing on the real person.

tomboy is a personality.
I've seen tomboy types dress beautifully, but their attitude and confidence in themselves was not there...thus made all they wore for naught.
