I have a friend who just had surgery and is off work for a few weeks, she has 2 young kids and her ex husband is not currently paying child support. Her employer does not give sick pay. She can't receive unemployment because this is temporary. But she is having a hard time paying bills, I am looking for some resources in southwestern PA to refer her to. I can't help her much because I have 2 kids of my own (1 in college!). Any information is greatly appreciated.
