There was a guitar player that toured with Ozzy on one of the first Ozzfests between the time when Zakk Wylde first left the band and when he re-joined him. I'm not sure if he had any songs recorded with Ozzy other than maybe a bonus track or two. Any music fans out there to help with this trivia?

Yes it was Joe Holmes. It was the inaugural OzzFest in 1996. I believe he also played Ozzfest '98 and Ozzfest 2000. There was a bit of a mess between 1996 and 2001 with Ozzy alternating between the reunited Black Sabbath and his solo band. Joe Holmes was done in 2001 when Zakk returned in September of that year.

As far as I know, according to Ozzy's "Prince of Darkness" boxed-set liner notes, the only song that was recorded with Joe Holmes was the live version of "Perry Mason" on that set. Although I'm sure there are a number of bootlegged CD's of Ozzy concerts with Joe Holmes.
