No, just cut to the chase and spray them with undiluted H2SO4. Then scrub with a long handled broom you don't want to keep in good condition. Protective gear might be a good idea. Make sure to watch out for traffic while you're doing this, as you wouldn't want to get knocked into the acid.

This is a funny question,first if your talking about tire markes yes it does help to pre soak the marks.I use tide with a little water and pre soak it for 30 min or so,them scrub it well with a course broom.

now if this is skid marks on your boyfriends underware that would be yes also.If you look at wal-mart they have a few cleaners that remove these marks,but if you want to totally prevent those marks ,don't let your dad catch him in your room anymore.

Since you're asking in cars & transportation, Maintenance & repairs, I assume you are asking about skid marks on the roadways from cars that have either slid the tires stopping or peeled out. No, just leave them and they will eventually fade, or if some repairs are needed, the highway department will handle it. Please don't attempt to pre-soak them.
