You definetly have a better chance of getting on a farm team rather than a NHL team. But don't got your hopes up unless your super good.

Unless you are one of the top talents, you will most likely have to play in the AHL before maybe getting a chance in the NHL. Only a few talented players get directly into the NHL.

Don't forget the ECHL, WHL, and the other sub minor pro teams.

THERE ARE A LOT OF MINOR LEAGUE TEAMS. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE YOUNG AND ON THE BUBBLE,PLAY UNIVERSITY HOCKEY ON A SCHOLARSHIP.
