If you ordered food and they brought it without a plate, you call public health immediately, use their company phone if necessary. You also leave without paying. They won't take it to court since the publicity would put them totally out of business.

I don't know what it was, but did the server actually HAND IT TO YOU? You need to talk to a manager. Would you ever go back there? The mgr needs to know. I don't care if it was just a lemon slice. Jeez, how stupid.
