I'm hoping to do an exchange program to England for my Junior year of high school {next year}

I did it with a few friends & trust me its what you make of it. I know i had a great family to exchange with & it was brilliant we had such a good time & got along very well from the time they picked us up. Where as my once friend hated her experience.From what i heard from her her host family were very stornch & strict & although we all had same family backgrounds & religion her family where the 'family from hell' in her words. Where we would all go out doing sightseen with the host families in a group & she was not allowed to come. Or even if we went out to movies or coffees or to the mall she was not allowed to come in a hurry.She eventually moved in with my host family & after that she had enjoyed it. We had all eventuatlly rented a place & had a blast. Its just what you make of it.
