I have a some karaoke cd's and would like to create a menu of songs that can be printed as a book.
I do not want to manually type the name of the song and artists for each song.
Is there a program out there that would read my karaoke cd's and extract that information to help create the listings?
I then want to sort by artist name and then again by song title.

Karaoke discs do not contain this information so there is nothing to extract. You will need a karaoke songbook program, like KJPro, that contains a database of virtually all karaoke discs in circulation.

I'm not sure I have the correct answer, but when I burn (or "rip") cd's to my pc, I use the Windows Media Player (ver. 9), and as long as I'm logged into the internet, I can click on "find information on this artist" button and it will automatically download the album cover, songs and track #. (hope this helps - I'm not sure how Karaoke cds work...)
