No you cannot get fired during the 3 months of probation because you are pregnant.
If you do that is against the law. You can get fired for reasons like tardiness, insubordination or poor work performance.
You should not relay personal information during an interview.
If you are currently working at this company you do not have to tell them right away unless you want to (depending on how far your are or if you are experiencing health issues from the pregnancy).
When you decide to tell your employer please speak with someone in HR not your boss. The representative in HR knows the law and will be able to advise you on what to do.
However you should know your rights and be prepared to ask and answer questions.
Check out the website below. And don't stop here do your homework. The more prepared you are the better!

It's illegal to get fired because of being preagnant. But I'm sure they're going to be upset if they know you knew and kept it a secret. Since you will be in probation, I would be sure not to do anything that would give them grounds for terminating you. If you make yourself indispensable, they won't mind you eaving for a couple months. And FYI, keep in mind that most companies spends thousands of dollars in training new reps during the first six months. I can understand that you would have your reasons for not telling them about it, but coming from the retail industry and knowing just how stressful it is to train someone who you know will leave in no time, I would say that's pretty shady. Especially when I'm sure there were other people who were also applying for that job and may have planned to stay there for a while, not just for a few months.

The point you did not mention is whether they asked you in the interview about your pregnency and the reply you gave to that should make you feel guilty or not.I do not know about your financial situation, but if this baby is your first timer then it's really not worth all the trouble.Relax at home, be a home maker for the time being, concentrate on the new one to come in both your life and allow your self to be pampered and spoiled by your hubby!!!That's the way I would prefer if I were you.Because this is the time you will get lots of adoration from family and friends and so reap it sweetheart!!!!!It's best for you and your BABY.

It depends on what state you live in. Some states are "at-will" which means your job can fire you at any time for any reason. There are a growing number of exceptions to this rule, and yours might qualify.
However, the fact that you'll be in your 90-day probationary period makes it a lot easier for them to fire you without fear of a wrongful termination suit. Plus, they can always claim you were dishonest in your interview because you didn't mention the pregnancy.
Google [your state] employment laws to see if live in an "at-will" state.

oftentimes in the course of the probation era an corporation can fireplace the worker for any reason regardless of if there is not any reason in any respect. also the worker can end for the period of that aspect for any and no reason in any respect. Firing someone for low credit basically sounds incorrect though. that's some thing someone might want to apply as an excuse to fireside someone, no longer a authentic reason. low credit does no longer propose the fellow is a foul worker or some thing.

They can't fire you because you are pregnant. They can terminate you for other reasons, such as attendance, violating a work rule numerous times, theft, etc, but not for being pregnant.

You can't get fired JUST because you are pregnant. If you are late for work, call in sick, and so on then yes you can still get fired.

I believe there is actually a constitutional amendment that says that it is super illegal to be fired to maternity leave. That, or it is a pretty important bill.
