I would love to say no, it isn't but the reality is 17 y/o girls are just light years ahead of 14 y/o boys in the maturity department. Either the immaturity of the boy is going to break the girl's heart or the maturity of the girl is going to hurt the boy. It's not a good situation to be in.

Depends on the circumstances. Neither one is very mature at that age (14 isn't mature central, and a 17 year old that goes for a 14 year old is obviously lacking something). If their aren't mature, bad things could happen...like pregnancy.

I think it all depends on what you mean by date. If you are going out and hangin' or watching a show It really doesn't matter the age, but don't be spending time alone together where you can get into trouble or you could get into some real trouble.

yeah its a bad idea. girls are more mature at that age and boys of 14 are still really just children and shouldn't be dating yet.

well it all depends , whats her GPA, if she is real smart well,that's weird .and if she is a dingbat well, then you could be a grandparent soon. If the boy is well rounded and mature for his age then, Dont Worry its only three years difference

depends on the girl really because if she is what you're looking for and she doesn't do anything bad then it should be fine. personally i don't take age difference into much consideration because it's what you feel not what the age feels

well, in texas 17 is age of legal consent, so she could be charged with statutory rape. be careful.
