I was impatiently waiting! I chose drug free labor, and did NOT want to be induced as it is a much more intense labor. However, I was a week overdue and my doctor wouldn't let me wait anymore. I tried EVERYTHING to start labor on my own. I'm pretty sure rough sex did the trick, but my labor hadn't progressed far enough to satisfy my doc by my induction date so I was given the drugs anyway. I was in labor for 8 hours after that. My perfect son was the result.

I wasn't surprised with labor with any of my four children. If anything, I impatiently waited...the longest wait was eight days past my due date and that was with my second. My first was two days past her due date, my third was two days past her due date when I went into labor (she was born the next day though) and my fourth was induced two weeks early.

I was in bed rolling to my left side when my water broke with my first born. I was induced with my second. The labor with my second was great, no pain at all. In fact, I felt good but my baby came out with strider. Its something like the larynx wasn't completely developed and she sounded like a seal. I feel like my having her induced made her made her come to early.
