Re: OK City bombing by Tim McVeigh: any evidence that a location in Des Moines IA was originally intended?

I have heard that the original target for Timothy McVeigh was a building in Des Moines, IA. Reportedly, McVeigh entered the building in Des Moines to "case" the building. McVeigh supposedly decided not to bomb the building because a janitor made eye contact with McVeigh, causing McVeigh to believe that the janitor suspected him. I personally do not believe this, and have found no indication that this is true. Has anyone heard this?

AS MUCH AS I HAVE FOLLOWED THIS CASE, I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS THEORY. IT COULD BE PAUSIBLE. I HAVE HEARD THAT HE HAD TERRORIST LINKS AND IT WAS SPOKEN OF AT THE MEMORIAL IN OKC, BUT NOT THE ONE YOU MENTIONED.
