As far as I'm aware, there is no fable about the elephants and the moon.

There is no fable called specifically "the elephants and the moon". But here is a list of all of his fables http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Aesop%27s_Fables and you can print them out. Just find whichever one it is. That's all I can do.
