There was this girl and her friends begged me to go to homecoming with her so i did. Shortly after she started to talk **** about me for no reason. All ive ever done is be nice and sweet to her. Today i bitched her out real bad and i know it was really horrible, but it sure did let off a whole bunch of steam. I mean, i never really liked her, but i still did the best i could to make sure we both had an awesome time but she blew me off. I kinda think this was a mistake but it made me feel so much better. Shud i have done that?

Returning bad for bad is not really the best way to go...but she returned bad to you for your sweetness and niceness, that's what makes her worse. Things like this happen all the time in life. Don't worry about it. May sound stupid but you don't really HAVE to get along great with everyone!! Just forget about it and move on...

Hello,

Honestly I think you are both in the wrong. But there comes a point in time when you can't just sit back and let someone treat you horribly.

I think what you did, by taking this girl to the dance (regardless of her weight and her intelligance level) was a nice thing. But honestly, you probably shouldn't have. How many homecoming dance's do you get to experience in your lifetime? Four, if you're lucky. Why waste it on someone who's not appreciative of it? Why not go with someone you really want to go with and someone you know you'll have an amazing time with? Like a girlfriend, or a really good friend.

It's true that two wrongs don't make a right, but sometimes you just have stand up for yourself. And unfortunately in high school when people can be catty and immature and talk behind other people's backs, I have respect for anyone who can say how they feel to someone's face, regardless of how good or bad they are feeling.

And honestly, I think you know what you did was wrong. But you also know that she deserved some reaction from you.

So good luck with this situation, and I hope this helps.

Yeah. I would do the same thing. Someone has to teach her to grow up and act like an adult. It seems like she doesn't want to learn it the easy way so she'll learn it the hard way. How immature of her after what you went through to show her a good time. She deserves it and now, she will see how it feels like when someone talks trash about another person. Don't feel bad about it, because she brought it on herself. :-)
