Drifting your car is an art form. The guy driving around your block has very little idea what he is doing and is an idiot for doing it in a built up area. You should probably stay well clear of him. Proper 4 wheel drift doesn't actually slow your car down. If you can enter the corner with a high enough entry speed and slide as you enter the corner you can use your rear wheels to steer the slide and in certain types of corners it is actually quicker than maintaining grip. However it is something you should practice when you are on your own with no risk of hitting some poor person in the the nearby vicinity.

It is a ego thing and the "HEY LOOK AT ME" no different then a biker with loud pipes.

Just another inconsiderate bastard who has no respect for the rights of others.

When a person has low self esteem or lacks in the manhood department, they tend to need the extra attention.

take a clean curve on some area where you will not disturb others and do it once. i bet then you will do it a hundred times. i do it on deserted mountain roads. and it is absolutely dangerous and inconsiderate to others to do it in a residential area where there is a chance that you may be hurting on annoying anybody around.

uhhhhhh, though I am from California, spinning out in snow is more fun and less dangerous. I grew out of peeling out and dragging, LOL.

It is fun and dangerous and is a thrill like riding a roller coaster, i don't recommend that you do it unless you are and experienced driver
