You're in a classic "threesome" friendship. These types of friendships are even studied in psychology. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. Threesomes often go back and forth between two people being close to two other individuals being close. It's not anything bad. It's just the nature of this type of friendship. The best thing you can do is be a good friend to both girls. Don't gossip or backbite either of them with the other. If your two friends eventually just head out on their own, it's okay. Start spending more time with other friends and build a strong relationship with someone else. I know it seems like it's the end of the world, but I promise you will survive.

well it seems to me like you arent really competeing for a good friendship with lizzie, you are just an outcast of Lizzie's and sara's friendship (but im not trying to say it in a harsh way). You and Sara just have to be equal friends with Lizzie, and you all be friends together! not one with another but the 3 some, like how you say you are mentioned. so you should talk more, fit in, and not try to compete with Sara for another friendship. just make Sara and Lizzie both your friends and make the "3-some" a true statement!

I know how you feel. Mary and Kasey were always the main deal. While I dangled along, and tagged along, and the other girl Jordan was just like, the rear end to them. I think you should just lighten up, thats what I did. But you can change your friends feelings. Me , mary and kasey are having problems.

I'd go about my life and if I wanted to do something I'd ask if my friend/s want to go along. Either or both. If they do then good, if not that is their lose. I'd would show that it bothers me or anything like that. Move on and find another friend. You might want to try another wqay which would be to sit down and talk with your friend one one one and see if this makes a difference. If it does not change then move on and find a new friend/s Good Luck.
