Hmm....probably one of these two.
Rudy Giuliani
John McCain
I'd still have to learn more. See my comments on the others below...
Hillary Clinton - Flake. Forever carries the stink of Bill on her
Barack Obama - Not sure he is seasoned enough yet. Time will tell
John Edwards - Not ready
Al Gore - Flake.
Evan Bayh - Flake
John Kerry - Flake
Condoleezza Rice - Not ready
Jeb Bush - He's gone as far as he will go politically. Not whitehouse material
Mitt Romney - Not familiar with this one
Newt Gingrich - Not President material

I am a libertarian so I have a tough time with this list. Repubs are borrow and spend and Dems are tax and spend. Our federal government is much to big. Our government was designed to Defend our shores and insure equal rights to all men. Beyond that it is overstepping its bounds. With that said here is my opinion on the names you have mentioned.
Miss Rice is just what this nation needs. She is intelligent, thoughtful, strong and does not follow which way the wind blows.
Hillary Clinton has good intentions, but bad means to the end.
Barack Obama is a lose cannon. He could be very good or very bad. I would not want to take my chances.
John Edwards reminds me of Dan Quayle. Just a pretty boy with no common sense.
Al Gore is afraid that man can destroy the earth. He is more concerned with taking away our technology than defending our shores.
Evan Bayh - not enough info.
John Kerry has no respect for our troops. He is a hypocrite. He is against corporate America and yet married money.
Rudy Giuliani has gained my respect for his leadership during 911 He too has good intentions but I do not agree with his means. He may be the better of the two choices.
John McCain is a hot head. I don't think he has the level headiness needed for a world leader. He tends to stick his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. We need someone decisive.
Jeb Bush is unelectable there is no way America will tolerate more Bush madness. "Read my Lips"
Mitt Romney - not enough information.
Newt Gingrich has to much baggage. The States seem to hold Republicans to a hire standard than Democrats. All though he has great ideas and could probably lead this nation honorably, I do not think he is electable.

I saw an interview with Barack Obama; he's extremely impressive. Very different than say someone like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. Very statesman like; very moderate; very articulate. I fear, though, if he runs that he won't have enough experience and some wacko will try to kill him because he's partially black.
Hillary Clinton is someone to be admired because she's as tough as nails and a great political fighter. Her drawbacks are that she can be arrogant and she has high unfavorable reviews - probably mostly from men who don't like strong women.
John Edwards is a nice man and very much in favor of the working man. But he hasn't had enough experience to be president.
Al Gore and John Kerry - please retire or at least, don't consider running for president. Give someone else a chance.
John McCain - he's a good Republican but he has two strikes against him - he will be 75 years old and he just suggested adding more troops to Iraq
Jeb Bush - I am tired of the Bushes. No more Bushes for president. Two is enough.
Newt Gingrich - I hope you're joking. He's way too divisive for this country - like Bush on steroids.
The rest I don't have an opinion on or I don't know much about

Hmmm....I haven't really looked into many of these...but I'm thinking
John Edwards
or
Al Gore
Maybe second times a charm?
"
Barack Obama. He seems to be a bright, likeable person who needs to be given a chance. He can't do worse than the Clintons. Maybe Condoleezza Rice for V.P. The first Democrat with a Republican V.P. Wouldn't that be a great symbol of unity. "
--that is such a good idea. I love the idea of mixing parties, why not make more then one person happy?

Giuliani or McCain from your list. Both seem like they would work outside of the typical circles of influence in Washington. I think that either would prove a breath of fresh air that this country could use. Both also seem like "straight shooters' who are not afraid to say what they really feel and work toward what they think is right, regardless of the opinions of other lawmakers/lobbyists.
If I'm allowed to write in, Stewart/Colbert, talk about something this country has never seen before! Real people who have original ideas.

From that list, probably Giuliani. I know he has the guts for the job. Newt has the guts but not the temperment, same with McCain.

Rudy rocks. He was a rock for NYC during 9/11 and its aftermath.
McCain is okay but still suffering the effects of being a POW deep inside.
Rice may very well be a great candidate, except that she's a woman and would never win.

Newt Gingrich because he will bring the Republicans back to the Reagan era where they need to be.
