My my secong gen Ipod has a problem. I left it on hold but when I went to use it again it was frozen. I restarted with Play and the middle button...still frozen. I also let the battery drain and restarted it again. I charged on my PC my outlet... Is it brokem 4 good??? No warranty.

Try holding down different combinations of buttons for more than 10 seconds at a time. I've seen this work with the 4th gen. It may reset it.

Another option is selling it on ebay and getting a new one. Odds are someone out there might need parts from the one you have to make theirs work. And then you can invest in a new one.

Maybe there is someone online that can fix ipods. Do a search on good for "ipod repair".

Try restarting it again but hold down the buttons for a really long time. If it doesnt work then it might be broken, ive heard of this happening before. Try going to the store (they prob. wont be much help though) I hope you find a way

ooooooo. try holding donw play for 10-13 sec then let go and press the hold for bout 3 sec, repeat 6 times (max) and if that doesnt work its gone...
