Have two state licenses for jobs, but they only pay $8 to $9 per hr.
$200 is taken out in taxes per month working full time. Take home pay is about $1000 per mo. Does anyone know a job/work I could do that pays enough to afford rent? One Bd. apartment starts at $1000 plus per mo. I really don't want to live on streets at my age and with health problem.

First of all, work on your resume and make it an excellent one. You may also take the help of consultant to make an attractive resume. Then You should submit your resume to leading jobsite like www.monster.com, www.careerbuilder.com. Also you should consult local placement consultant in your area. In the meantime, look out for an option to work online. Although it wont pay you like full time job but its good to make some extra cash. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting a discussion and answering a discussion. the link is:
