rosemary's baby... it's 38 years old, but it scared the crap out of me! i just saw it the day before halloween... and mind you, i've seen every halloween, friday the 13th, nightmare on elm street, hellraiser, exorcist, children of the corn, and pretty much any other "scary" movie... and this was by far the creepiest! it's so subtle, yet so in your face! honestly... if you haven't seen this, you need to!!!

Wolf creek-based on true events of the "backpacker murders" in the Australian outback.

The Shining and Carrie are not to miss.

The Hills Have Eyes and Last House on the Left are Classic movies by Wes Craven that are brilliant.

But, for some reason, The Exorcist still scares me the most. (The part where she creeps down the starecase and spits up blood still gives me nightmares.)

I think the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre was pretty scary...the whole time my heart was beating. Definitely don't see the second one, which was supposed to be a prequal...it was horribly gorry and gross.

Also if you like more of a psychological thriller I enjoyed "When a Stranger Calls." I think that was a remake as well.

Last, but not least, It always creeped me out.. who doesn't find clowns to be scary.

I'VE SEEN
Freddy vs. jason (lot's of blood, by the buckets)
The Ring
The Ring II
Saw
Saw II
The Haunting
Signs
IT

BUT

None could compare to FINAL DESTINATION III, it's the ultimate scary movie. There may not be ALOT of blood like Freddy, but it's very suspensful, has brood cuddling moments, and gruesome and I mean VERY GUESOME deaths. IT'll give you nightnmares for weeks. it'll leave you scared of cameras, rollarcoasters, and tanning booths for life. Be prepared for the most horrifying ride of your life. There's never a moment where you can relax and know it'll be calm for a moment. Don't expect to feel safe even if you leave the lights on. And remember the odds of living and dying are ONE TO ONE.

FINAL DESTINATION III

Classic horror is based on psychology not gore, the scariest thing to me is losing control of myself and my actions, thats why i'm gonna go with:
1 the excorsist
2 carrie
3 psycho
4 legend of hell house
5 night of the living dead
