The St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series in five games. Pitchers' errors were probably what caused the Tigers loss. In each of the five games, a Tigers pitcher made a throwing error to either first or third.
David Eckstein was the World Series MVP. He became the shortest player to win this award at 5 feet and 7 inches.

The St. Louis Cardinals, 4-1 over the Tigers. The series really was lost by the Tigers whose pitching didn't hold up and they had poor fielding and committed many errors. The Cards pitching was unusually good, and they had help from their bats (especially that lead off batter, Eckstein who was very pesky) though Pujols was quiet. Anyway, my Mets didn't make it to the series..but there's always next year!!!

If you didn't see the game than it isn't stupid. The CARDINALS won the WORLD SERIES. I root for the ANGELS, but since some of the players are from the ANGELS I just have to root for them. Oh and DAVID EXSTINE won MVP. Go DAVID EXSTINE!!!
