Well, the Bronze Age came first, then the Iron Age. Personally, I prefer magnesium.

Some ppl say that Jimmy Hendrix and Led Zepplin were the forefathers of it....I'd say the first actual metal bands were Black Sabbath and Deep Purple

Black Sabbath started it all. Most of the rock and roll legends agree. They all bow to Sabbath!
