it is the style at the moment. they look good layered and with skinny jeans.

They are good for layering and long shirts/tunics are back in.
Long shirts make your torso seem long , so you should wear long slimming jeans to even them out.

because they look adorable with layers, jeans, or short shorts. a jeans skirt is just adorable too. they really lengthen your body, unless you are short, then yes, you can wear them! i do, and i am short, but i only wear super long ones with shorts or a denim skirt because the jeans make it look like a babydoll dress sort of!
