Well, the story they tell is that the record of minors (under 18 is a minor) would be sealed, so basically after she leaves court and either serves her time or does probation or whatever, no one will ever know.

But.

The possibility that someone finds out is pretty much there forever, so when asked "have you ever been arrested" it will give one pause...."do I say yes, or do I say no?"

It's eyeshadow. Come clean about it and have a laugh with the interviewer. I had a record before I was 18, and I disclosed it to the military and it didn't stop me getting a Top Secret clearance.

Once again depends on if she was tried as an adult or a juvenile and if she was offered a differed prosecution, which means after a certain period of time, year or more, if not arrested again it will become a sealed recorded and it will not be held against her. Her local law enforcement could do a check for her, and let her know.

It would depend on whether they tried her as an adult or a juvenile.
