If you live in Manhattan, you can go to one of the Ryan Centers.
They have one in the Upper West Side/Harlem, one in Midtown/Chelsea and one in the East Village/Lower East Side. You may have to prove that you live in the neighborhood where the clinic is to get treated. I couldn't go because I live in Brooklyn. They accept payment on a sliding-scale based on income and family size if you don't have insurance. They also take Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus and ADAP Plus.
