My husband who is very much a computer and video game freak says to go with the XBox 360 and not with the PlayStation. I think he would be very happy with it. They have so many cool games and you can also play a large amount of the original xbox games on it too. Plus Microsoft has a good reputation and have already worked out all the bugs. I think it is nuts to buy any kid a playstation for $599 and good luck anyways trying to find it even after the Holidays.

Why till march, the releasing of the PS3 is this month NOVEMBER 17 , you can buy it @ amazon and have it at ur doorstep this 17th

Well and also, I don't recommend this XBOX 360, the game playing is perfect, but several people have complain about system failures, its durability is pretty short....... This people rush too much in releasing this XBOX 360, and that's why a new generation of the XBOX 360 will be need it soon...... but you don't want to wait for this, that's too much time.......
Both system are pretty the same but this PS3 is suppose to have a much more quality, I mean durability and no failures....

I say go with whatever you think is best. Either way, a new game console will just come out in a year or more and the PS3 and the Xbox 360 will be considered old school. Your not gonna win in this situation because something new will come up. Pretty much, just go with your heart on this decision. Your nephew should be happy with whatever he gets because these are expensive gifts. So just do what you think is right, even if that involves flipping a coin.

Wait for the PS3 or Wii. I mean we LOVE our 360 and plan on getting the PS3 as well, but if he has to choose one or the other I'd say get the newer one. I do believe it will be out before March though. Then again...he probably won't be able to find it in stock for months after the release so go for the 360!!!!

the ps3 are limited, so it might be a little harder to get one. but by the time christmas comes around the x-box 360 will be old news.. it`s all about to you but you should consider that.
