No. Those are two different things.

If you have a laptop that supports Bluetooth, then you don't need the USB cable. If your PC or Laptop doesn't have Bluetooth, then use the USB cable.

Bluetooth is used for wireless communications to the printer.

USB is wired communications to the printer.

You can use either one but they accomplish the same thing.

Not necessary during bluetooth installation you need this USB cable. Once the printer is installed in bluetooth mode you do not need the USB cable to connect the printer. The printer can be used without the USB cable.

AS the bluetooth support only Point - Point communication, do not support USB cable.
