If you are familiar and use the numeric keypad to use them on your desktop then it is the exact same on the laptop except you must press "alt" then the "fn o fnc" key and hold them both before typing the number in order. Granted some programs will not let you use this method but for the most part you should be fine. If you are not aware of the key codes they are as follows:
é alt+fn+0233
í alt+fn+161
ó alt+fn+162
ú alt+fn+0250
ñ alt+fn+164
Ñ alt+fn+165
á alt+fn+160
¿ alt+fn+168
¡ alt+fn+0161

if you need more i have included the source for all of the ones you would need. Also remember that you must have your numlock on for this to work

it depends on what laptop u have
for example, i owned a compaq laptop and i had to press fn and then the keyboard had blue little numbers than i had to press 164 163 162 161 160 etc, with the fn button pressed.
if u own a mac, opt+e and then the letter or opt n and N for ñ...

i also used a sony laptop and toshiba and had to press fn alt and then the numbers i mentioned before in different color usually in the UIOLKJM letters
