With your hair and your lovely jacket, a silk magenta or gold sleeveless blouse would really sell the look. Something with a flash of color at the throat. The right pin on the jacket could be another smart touch - something very mod.

First, pick a bright bold color. Reds, Yellows, Whites...that sort of thing.

Then, wear it.

Not just as a necklace or as shoes, but wear that color shirt...or pick a great dress to wear under it.

If you're still wearing darker colors, pick a BOLD peice to be the focal point, like big chunky red beads around your neck or a really wild shoe.

Good luck! Hope you find something that works.

BTW: Cute jacket!

Nice jacket! I would go with a scarf in a contrasting color, like red. If you are being playful, make it a knit one or one of those strechy fuzzy ones, and get a matching hat while you are at it...and gloves. If you are going out fancy, use silk scarves that match your pants or skirt and accessorize with a hair clip and lapel pin (on the jacket or on the scarf) in matching colors (like both gold, or silver, or pearls...etc).
Or how 'bout this...loosely tie your hair with a smaller scarf...that will break up the black, and won't leave your hair all messed up.

All color is good if you are cofortable in it . Start with a long sleeve plain Tee that matches you eyes and also Red is a plus when wearing black.

RED, GOLD, SILVER, for WOW! Black is very easy to combine with just about an color! It can be as subtle as a pin, belt, blouse, purse, shoes, hair accents jewelry or whatever you want. It"s that easy with Black.

What about wearing a colorful hairband or cloth? Any color is fine, since your outfit is otherwise black.

My favorite is a lime green collared shirt for work. Or a bright sparkly silver shirt for play. Then add matching earings and if you can match shoes to shirt.

Add a red shirt, bustier, or baby doll blouse. And get yourself a pair of strappy red high heels.

A wide silk scarf. White, or red, or purple or yellow ... your choice. I would go with something vibrant.
