Everytime i buy a pair of jeans, they always seem to last no longer than 6 months. And always begin to tear in the crotch area. Why is that? Every pair that i have, has a hole in the crotch. And its not like i wear them day after day. What can i do to make sure this doesn't happen?

It also seems to be happening to my boxers :(

What can i do???

If you're anything like me, it's because your thighs rub together. Think about how many steps you take in a day...that's a lot of rubbing.

It could be a problem with the rise. The rise is the measurement from the belt buckle, between your legs, to the center of the belt in back.

The sad truth is that, although everyone has a slightly different rise, most pants don't.

The only advice I can give is, try different brands, to find one that uses a pattern that suits your rise.

I sure wish you good luck!

It could be you're buying your pants in a size that's too small for you. Or you walk with your legs very close together and the seams rub until they come apart (this often happens to my pants).

This is a classical case of "Crotch rot".
Excess sweating would be one primary suspect, lack of personal hygiene would be another. No insult intended.
