You can use white vinegar spray the vinegar all around, and wait a few moments, and then wide with a soft cloth. Then take a clean cloths and rub until it shines. I keep a spray bottle of white vinegar and I clean the sink this way after dinner each night, and you can use the vinegar on the stove, and the counter tops It will not only clean but it will also remove any lingering odors from cooking.

It depends on the mineral makeup of the spotting. I always try vinegar first because of the safety factor.
Put another way, vinegar is often a safe natural alternative to strong, possibly harmful mixtures. Vinegar it is all natural, and other a strong odor is harmless to human skin.
And if nothing else, your sink will have a nice pickled smell! Any sort will do, regular or distilled, the cheap stuff.
