I liked The Eagles, Queen and The Stones. What about you? Why are they your favorites?

I like Queen because Freddie Mercury was a great performer and singer and the whole band was good, they had a different sound that I liked..
Also liked the Who, Roger Daltrey, good music...
The Beatles were just the coolest and originals....
Fleetwood Mac Because they had Girl Singers/musicians. that's cool cause there wasn't a whole lot out there at the time...

Led Zeppelin. By far. They had the best lead guitarist in Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant was the quintessential rock vocalist. They played British heavy metal blues with a vengeange. The Stones are hard to beat. They came before most groups. But, for straight up hard core diesel engine heavy metal rock and roll, Led zep did not disappoint. They did come come down to earth like a lead balloon as projected. The Eagles and Queen were pretty damn good as well. Tough choice.

I liked The Police. White rock group. First White rock group. I repeat the First white rock group to use Jamaican rhythms in rock music. They had soul along with the rock music they created. Do Doo Doo La Da Da... is all I want to say to you! I wish Chevrolet would use that for their car commercial they could make so much money because of that song. They'd show like all the Chevy cars...Corvette, Cobalt, etc. and at the end of the commercial and song. It would say let the revolution begin. I'm practicing marketing strategies. I'd put Chevy back on the map for sure! I'm sorry....Fo' Sho! I like speaking ebonics. Fo'sho! I'm crazy, but I like being crazy because Crazy is comfortable for me. Thanks, I need those two point so I can ask more questions.

All of your choices above are great.
Queen because the band was unique and ahead of its time.
The Eagles because of their amazing talent for great harmonies.
The Stones for their personality.
Not sure what you consider Old School, but I also like Journey...great guitar, great voices, great lyrics.
Oh, and definitely Styx for the same reason as the Eagles...lots of talent and great harmonies.

Journey - a few classics from my youth.
The Grateful Dead - the sheer scope of talents and repertoire is amazing.
Crosby Stills Nash and Young - nice peacenik music.
