2x+5y=30
5y = -2x + 30
y = (-2x)/5 + 6

easy 2x+5y=30 subtract 5y
2x=-5y+30 subtract 30 from both sides
2x-30=-5y divide both sides by-5
-0.4x+6=y OR -2/5x+6=y

2x+5y=30
=>5y=-2x+30
=>y= (-2/5)x+6 [Dividing all the terms by 5]
But to graph it you need not change it to y=mx+c form.You can draw a straight line by finding the co-ordinates of 3 points from the equation y=(30-2x)/5.Now for the values of x=0,5 and 10 you get the corresponing values of y=6,4 and 2.Now plot three points(0,6),(5,4) and (10,2) on the graph and join them by a straight line and extend it on either side.You get your graph of the equation

you need to get it in slope-intercept form right?
2x+5y=30
your formula is y=mx+b (m=slope,b=y-intercept)
5y= -2x + 30
when you cross the equals sign you change the sign of the number you are moving.your slope is -2 and your y-intercept is 30

If x=0, then y=6 and if y=0, then x=15. So your coordinates for the graph are (0,6) and (15,0)

dude this is easy!

2x + 5y = 30
5y = 30 - 2x
y = 6 - 2/5x
