If it's a first edition and in excellent condition it may be worth something. If it has visuals, art and things like that in it it may be a little more. The condition is everything and books aren't worth a whole lot unless they are first editions, ususlly. You can look up free book appraisals and see if anyone comes up. You can google old books, also, go on E-bay, sometimes if you are lucky they might have one on there. Just keep looking for old books, beekeeping books, try all of thet. Some libraries can point you to an appraiser or you can look for one in your area. Not a dealer because they will tell you less to try to get it if it's worth something. It'll have to be an appraiser and you may have to pay. Some will do it free with a picture also. Good luck. I have an 1800's medical book that I wonder about..printen in England had to be ordered, condition is not too good. good luck.

Try Amazon or Ebay or suchlike and look for completed items. This will tell you if there were any and what they sold for but if its a rare book these 2 sites wont help. Look up the book and author on google.
